Alpaca Open Day – Monday, May 28th

The late May Bank Holiday Monday can be an amazing spring day with wonderful sunshine, or…

But whatever the weather, there will be plenty of signs of new spring growth around the valley to be appreciated on the farm walk. The alpaca herd love the stimulation of visitors and don’t miss much, with their inquisitive nature and great long-range vision. They don’t always cooperate for selfies but there is a good chance of good pictures when we feed them at the end of the walk.

The Long Room offers a welcome and homemade cake with fresh Coaltown Coffee. Plus plenty of other alpaca related things to do and see.

Entrance is free but we never turn away donations towards refreshments.

Any time from 11 am to 3 pm, no need to book. But please leave your lovely dogs at home.

For more information about our alpacas go to Welsh Valley Alpacas.

We also have a further Alpaca Open Day on the August Bank Holiday when you can see some of this year’s babies (cria) – more details to come.
