Get Creative @ The Waterside Felindre
“Wow! What an amazing place for creativity. Can we come again?
We’re trying out new things with friends old and new with each Get Creative @ The Waterside weekend. The August session saw another step into new territory with our partnership with Carl Gough, Eleanor Shaw and David Pitts, otherwise known as Swansea Storytelling. The workshops on Saturday and Sunday were powerful and great fun and we suspect that these are the first of many…
For September we are having a more gentle end to the Summer Hols (coming just after our August Bank Holiday Monday Alpaca Open Day).
Friday 1st September: First Fridays
Our usual First Fridays is anytime from 10am-4pm, with a creative twist if you are up for it!
Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd September: Creative Nature Trail
Come anytime between 2pm-5pm and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the valley. We have a Creative Nature Trail marked out, with suggestions of activities at various points, finishing up with refreshments and space to chill out in the Long Room.
There is a drawing wall in the Long Room to make your mark. And fresh coffee, tea and cakes are available throughout the day.
Feel free to do as much or as little of the trail as you like and bring your own creative materials if you want to explore more. It is suitable for all ages, though children must be accompanied by an adult. Do remember that it is a working alpaca farm and wellies/walking boots and waterproofs are advised. Please also leave your lovely dogs at home…
What a lovely way to finish the summer before stepping into Autumn. Do join us.
