Get Creative @ The Waterside Felindre

“Wow! What an amazing place for creativity. Can we come again?

Yes!”

We’re trying out new things with friends old and new with each Get Creative @ The Waterside weekend.

The July weekend had a focus on the Creative Nature Trail and stimulated further thoughts about how the natural beauty of the valley encourages fresh expression of creativity.

The August session saw another step into new territory with our partnership with Carl Gough, Eleanor Shaw and David Pitts, otherwise known as Swansea Storytelling. The workshops on Saturday and Sunday were powerful and great fun and we suspect that these are the first of many…

For September we had a more gentle end to the Summer Hols (coming just after our August Bank Holiday Monday Alpaca Open Day).

We had been planning a Get Creative weekend at the beginning of October, but are mindful of the changeable weather here in Wales and also that the Swansea Fringe Festival is on during this time. We think it may be time to develop the creative side of our First Fridays and also develop a more focussed creative programme for 2017/18.

If you have any suggestions get in touch with us directly!
